Hana Roble

About Me:

Hello everyone! My name is Hana Roble and I am a fourth-year biology major and a CNAS Science Ambassador! I joined the CNAS Science Ambassador program at the end of my second year of undergrad because I value community experience, volunteer and engagement. I had the goal of representing minorities in STEM and found my way to becoming a Science Ambassador through the various outreach projects the program had to offer. I joined the Delta SiFy team with hopes of creating a supportive environment for middle school students to grow their interests in various STEM fields. In 2022, I coached middle school students from the STEM academy in the Topography competition where they successfully placed in the top 10. This year, I coached another group of students in the Disease Detectives category where they also successfully placed first and second in their category! Through this experience, I realized I have a passion for mentorship and helping students find their way through their educational experiences! Additionally, I look forward to our SISTERs lectures provided by the SISTERs leadership team.
Outside of the CNAS Science Ambassador program, I work as a Resident Advisor for the Pentland Hills residential community and volunteer as a COPE Health Scholar at Riverside Community Hospital. I also enjoy stopping by the African Student Programs and engaging with the Eritrean and Ethiopian Student Association! As I reflect on my time as a Highlander, I am excited to share so many amazing opportunities with incoming Highlanders. Feel free to reach out via email!

Goals and Aspirations:

After graduation, I plan on taking a gap year to gain more clinical experiences through scribing and volunteering at local free clinics. I also hope to be admitted to a post baccalaureate pre-health program with the goal of attending medical school in the future.
